Frequently asked questions

What is Objektor?

Objektor is a map-based field tool for asset and issue management. You register the physical assets you are responsible for, and track issues, checklists, photos and documentation tied to each individual asset – from field registration to closed issue.

What counts as an “asset”?

Anything you need to keep track of that has a location: light posts, signs, guardrails, electrical boxes, doors, ventilation units, technical rooms and more. Assets can be points, lines or polygons, and asset types are tailored to your project.

Who is Objektor for?

Contractors, project owners, caretaker services and operations teams – whether you work on construction projects, road maintenance or building operations. What they have in common is the need to know what exists, where it is and what needs follow-up.

Does Objektor work on mobile in the field?

Yes. Objektor is built to be used right where you stand: register assets and issues with location and photos straight from your phone, and follow up from the office on a larger screen afterwards.

Can I bring in existing asset registers?

Yes. Existing registers can be imported so you don't have to start over, and you can export your data again whenever you need reports, handover or want to use it in other systems.

Can I share a project with contractors, owners or clients?

Yes. Objektor is built around organizations, projects and roles. You invite the people who should take part into the project, and control what each of them can see and do.

What does Objektor cost?

Objektor is in early access, and we set things up together with our first customers. Email kjell@laminar.no and we will talk through what fits your needs.

Where is my data stored, and who can access it?

Data is stored securely in the cloud on Google Cloud. Sign-in and access control are handled per organization and project, so only the people you have invited can see your data.

How do I get started?
